April Holiday Changes
As of the 01st April the holiday entitlement has increased from 4.8 weeks to 5.6 weeks. For an employee that works 5 days a week their entitlement has increased from 24 days to 28 days holiday. This value varies depending on the number of days worked per week.
To apply the changes to your enterpriSe system you need to go to Administration > System > Parameters > Payroll Company and select the Holiday option from the tree view. In here you need to add the date of 01/04/2009 into the field "Date values valid till (leave blank if no cut-off date)" for the record with 24 holiday days entitlement. Now click the button NEW and add another line into the holiday table. Your holiday table should look like this once its completed.
See below.
| Date Values Valid til (Leave blank if no cut-off date) | Holiday Days Entitlement per Year | Work Days per Year | Days Accrued per Week | Holiday Pay Accrual Percentage |
| 01/04/2009 | 24 | 236 | 0.508 | 10.17 |
